As a Security Guard in the Arts and Culture sector, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding people in a dynamic environment. We’re looking for Part-Time Security Guards to join our team with one of our major clients in Saskatoon.We believe in providing growth opportunities for our staff. In fact, 30% of our frontline employees are promoted into operational roles!Positions we are seeking:Position 1: Sunday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Thursday 1700-2100 & Friday 1700-2100
Position 2: Sunday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Thursday 1700-2100 & Friday 1700-2100(Must be able to work all listed shifts)What’s in it for you?

What does a Security Guard in the Arts and Culture Sector do?

• Deliver excellent customer service to museum patrons and art gallery visitors.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized or disruptive behaviors.
• Conduct interior patrols to ensure the safety of exhibits, spaces, and compliance with museum policies.
• Accurately complete daily activity logs and incident reports with attention to detail.
• Manage crowds, ensuring a safe and orderly experience during exhibitions, events, or performances.
• Respond efficiently to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches.
• Oversee entry and exit points, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
• Work well with security-related technology and communication systems, including radios and surveillance tools

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in the Arts and Culture Sector:

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• High school education or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent computer and technology skills
• Proficient in report writing
