This position leads a financial management unit in the preparation of high-level financial analysis to support Senior Management in resource allocations, budget briefing materials and Legislative returns. - A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
- Experience in financial management, including preparation, analysis, and reporting of operational and capital budgets in a complex organizational environment;
- Significant experience in supervising and managing a team, including workload planning, performance evaluation, and professional development;
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior management, program managers, and external auditors;
- Understanding of government budgeting processes, variance analysis, and year-end financial activities.
- Recognized accounting designation (i.e. CPA, CA, CGA etc.) or working toward this would be considered an asset
