Successful applicants will have a background in security or customer service and be able to work the schedule below. As this role will also see you driving a company vehicle, an Ontario G2 or G license is requiredPART TIME WEEKNED DAYS (24 Hrs. per week) 0000-1200Pay Rate: $20.50/HourPlease note that all applicants must be able to work both shifts.What’s in it for you?We offer competitive wages & comprehensive health benefitsUniform provided free of chargeOpportunities to grow alongside GardaWorldContinuing education through GardaWorld Campus.What does a Security Guard in Orillia do?Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client’s site by utilizing onsite computer software and programs.Complete patrols on foot and in company vehicle in all weatherMaintain protection systems for fire, theft and other disasters.Ensure the availability of emergency equipment and complete audits of onsite equipment each shift to ensure compliance.Write professional reports and show professional and pleasant attitude for clients, staff and visitors to the site.Qualifications to become a security guard in OrilliaOntario G or G2 Drivers LicenceExcellent oral and written communication skillsGood knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to quickly and efficiently learn dedicated site security programs.Valid security guard license and first aid cardAvailable to work flexible hoursHave a clean criminal recordBe eligible to work in Canada
