We want to hear from you.As a Traffic Control Supervisor working in the Operational Support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will oversee the management of all activities on the construction site. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will be responsible of all aspects of signage and traffic management. You will play a key role ensuring the smooth operation of the construction site and the safety of its users.What You Will Do
- Monitor the arterial network around construction sites to identify potential conflicts with other contractors;
- Recommend measures to harmonize obstructions and detours to optimize the mobility of people in a sensitive area;
- Require specific mitigation measures to reduce the impact of construction sites;
- Optimize the use of police resources through judicious scheduling of work and harmonization of signage;
- Design, coordinate, and implement traffic management measures to utilize the full range of mitigation measures associated with the work.
- Ensure and monitor compliance with workplace safety standards;
- Participate with the Project Manager in site start-up meetings and prepare periodic schedules as required;
- Evaluate logistical needs on a weekly basis, prepare requisitions and notify the Logistics Department of any needs according to procedures;
- Perform administrative follow-up according to established procedures;
This role could be for you if you have
- A Degree in Civil engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in traffic management in Construction
- Previous experience in managing all aspects of signage on large-scale projects;
- Proven leadership skills;
- Availability to travel for various assignments in the designated province will be considered an asset.

Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and geographical location.
