Ready to bring your best?Quality Assurance Supervisor – Mount Pearl, NLOverview of the role :Saputo Dairy Products Canada GP currently has an opening for a Quality Assurance Supervisor in our Mount Pearl Newfoundland Plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for supervising daily activities of the laboratory including the management of resources and staff. The incumbent shall ensure food safety and customer requirements are met and that all manufactured products are of the highest levels of quality.Schedule: Monday – Friday – Salary: $76,265 – $100,100*****Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.****We support and take care of our employees and their families by offering :

How you will make contributions that matter:
- Directs the daily activities of staff and resources in the laboratory;
- Monitors, reviews and implements quality programs to ensure compliance to regulatory and internal food safety programs
- Verification and monitoring of in-process food safety, quality and sanitation controls;
- Ensures consistent application of best practices related to testing/inspection methods, analysis and auditing techniques;
- Investigates and resolves quality deviation and customer complaints, reporting and communicating findings as necessary;
- Timely communication of quality issues as they arise;
- Promotes a positive work environment establishing high levels of employee involvement and fostering the development of the team skills knowledge;
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Food Science or Microbiology is preferred;
- Three or more years of supervisory and quality control experience from within the dairy, beverage or food processing industry;
- Dependable and team oriented with a history of being able to work independently.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills are a prerequisite;
- Computer proficiency.
