Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleReporting to the general supervisor, maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical maintenance tradespeople in a way that sustainably maximizes the use of assets.In this role, you will:

  • Promote safety awareness
  • Provide effective communication
  • Ensure processes are followed
  • Lead a team of maintenance electricians, keeping training up to date, completing assigned work and working towards continuous improvement daily
  • Coach and develop a team of problem solvers

Required:

  • Valid Saskatchewan or interprovincial journeyperson certification or a technical diploma in a related discipline
  • 10 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Recommended:

  • A Saskatchewan supervisory certificate
  • First aid certificate
  • Previous working experience using SAP, Sigga and Bentley

Salary Range: $106,900-$133,620 per annumSafety Sensitive SitePreference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN).The Key Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.The physical and psychological safety of our employee’s is a top priority at Cameco.
