Job description: Job Overview:The slot attendant is responsible for excellent customer service. The Slot Attendant will pay out Jackpots and assist guests with difficulties they encounter during there gaming experience.Responsibilities and Duties:Pays out Jackpots and Cancel Credits.Processes and payouts of TITO and VLT Tickets.Performs minor maintenance of slot machines including paper outs, bills, and ticket jams.Provides outstanding customer service.Is familiar with basic operations of each game and help and information to guests regarding game rules and casino rules.Ensures duties are performed in accordance with AML Policies and procedures and Prize Disentitlement PoliciesAssists in the overall cleanliness of the Casino (IE pushing in chairs, picking up glasses and throwing away trash)Is knowledgeable with marketing and promotions.Promotes the brand.Promotes Winner’s Edge and the property player’s loyalty card.Issues floats to other departments.Reconciles daily paperwork to ensure balancing and proper cash handling.Provides assistance and information to patrons regarding game rules and casino rules.Sells and/or redeems lottery tickets.Exchanges bills and/or coin with customers and F&B staff.Other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:High school or equivalencyAGLC Gaming Registration NumberClear Criminal Record CheckAGLC Certifications:AGLC Deal Us In Phase 1ProserveAnti-money LaunderingLotto LearnSkills and Abilities:Professional demeanor and ability to approach situations in a tactful manor.Ability to work calmly under pressure and treat others with respect regardless of their status or position.Accepts responsibility for own actions.A passion for providing excellent customer service and full alignment with the organizations vision.Job Requirements:Ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including graveyards, weekends, and holidays. This positions frequently communicates with employees throughout the entirety of the shift. Must be able to exchange accurate information and professionalism in these situations.Works in an indoor, fast-paced environment.Advanced attention to detail.Ability to work well under pressure.Frequent bending, crouching, lifting, pulling, pushing, twisting, stretching, and turning.
