Job description: Overview: We are a family in Vancouver seeking a reliable, caring, and patient nanny to provide full-time care for our 2-year-old daughter while I work from home. This is a short-term position from mid-March to mid-May, filling in while my in-laws (her primary caregivers) are out of town. Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM Morning Duties (9 AM – 12 PM): Supervise and engage in playtime/activities. Serve pre-prepared lunch. Nap Period (12 PM – 2:30 PM): Take a paid lunch break, then assist with light housekeeping and organizing (e.g., tidying, child’s laundry, organizing toys, or meal prep for the child). Afternoon Duties (2:30 PM – 5 PM): Resume care after nap time, including play and supervision. Diaper changes will be needed until she is potty trained. Key Details: Pay: $20/hour (negotiable based on experience). Location: Our family home (you must be comfortable coming to the house). I am available for support unless in a meeting. My husband works a hybrid schedule. When working from home, he will be unavailable and should not be disturbed. About Us: I am a full-time manager working from home, and my husband works in tech.
