The role is based in Labrador City, NL.​Responsibilities:Working on M-F, 8-4 schedule and reporting to the Superintendent, Occupational Health, your duties will include:​Leadership and Team Management: Provide effective leadership to the Injury & Illness Management team by setting clear expectations, offering feedback, coaching, and development, and establishing efficient and effective team processes.Program Planning and Policy Development: Contribute to policy development and the annual planning of Occupational Health activities and projects to align with organizational goals, expectations, and objectives.Injury & Illness Management: Facilitate the return-to-work process for injured or ill employees, reviewing and providing support related to medical care, rehabilitation, and accommodations.Health Promotion and Education: Develop and implement health promotion programs, designing and delivering programs on health topics relevant to the workforce.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with management, employees, and other stakeholders to identify and address health concerns.Compliance and Professional Responsibility: Ensure proper documentation of all employee health information in compliance with legal and ethical standards.What you’ll bring​Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent​Currently licensed and in good standing with CRNNLRelevant up to date training and certifications (BLS-HCP, ACLS, etc.) would be considered an assetExperience working in Occupational Health or in a Leadership role would be considered an assetExperience with electronic medical records and Microsoft 365 applications would be considered an assetOrganized, self-directed, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing competing prioritiesAdaptable, efficient, and collaboratesExcellent communication and influencing skillsWhat we offer​Being recognized for your contribution, thinking, and hard work.
