Job description: About the Client Our client is looking to source a Senior Financial Analyst for a 6-Month Contract.About the Opportunity

• Preparing ASPE financial statements independently, ensuring accuracy and completeness for audit and internal reporting
• Leading key aspects of the audit process, reconciliations, and supporting documentation management
• Owning the full cycle process, month-end close procedures, collaborating with the Senior Accountant to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Conducting financial analysis and leveraging available resources to provide insights that support decision-making
• Prepare reconciliations, reviewing documentation, and handling ad hoc financial tasks with minimal supervision
• Experience with completing GST returns
• Support Director of Finance and Senior Accountant on ad hoc duties

About You

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in FS Prep, full cycle accounting, month end close
• Experience in working with small to mid-size private companies
• CPA is an asset but not required
• Public audit experience (ASPE) is an asset but not required
• Experience with NetSuite or large ERP systems is an asset
