This role involves leveraging data analytics to drive financial reporting, process automation, and strategic decision-making. A successful candidate will bridge technical data expertise with financial acumen, ensuring accurate reporting, system optimization, and proactive problem-solving within the finance function. The candidate will own data workflows from collection to visualization, demonstrating technical knowledge and strategic problem-solving capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation and delivery of financial reports for monthly/quarterly cycles, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational standardsDesign, maintain, and optimize Power BI and Tableau dashboards for real-time financial performance tracking and stakeholder communicationAutomate repetitive financial workflows (e.g., data collection, report generation) using Python, SQL, or low-code platforms like Power AutomateAct as the AI subject matter expert for the company by advising on ways to implement throughout the businessProactively identify data discrepancies, system inefficiencies, or reporting gaps and implement corrective measuresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable business insightsDevelop predictive models to forecast financial trends and assess risk scenariosQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related field5+ years’ experience in financial data analysisTechnical qualifications:Expert-level Power BI/Power Query developmentProduction-grade Python/SQL scripting (Pandas, NumPy, etc.)Data modeling and warehouse architecture principlesDemonstrated ability to:Simplify complex financial data for non-technical audiencesTroubleshoot system errors and implement technical solutions independentlyManage multiple priorities in deadline-driven environmentKnowledge of advanced analytics techniques for automation and process improvementBackground in developing self-service reporting tools for business teams​Differentiating SkillsExperience implementing machine learning workflows (predictive modeling, pattern recognition)Knowledge of cloud analytics platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience incorporating AI strategies in reporting and business processesBackground in developing API integrations or data governance frameworksTarget Base Salary Range: $59,600 – $105,500 CADConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
