Our clients consist of Yukon citizens, First Nations, municipalities, businesses and other government departments.The Senior Energy Advisor is part of a team that develops, implements and evaluates energy programs and initiatives designed to achieve the Yukon’s climate change and energy targets. This includes rebates, funding and upfront financing for energy efficiency retrofits and renewable energy system installations.   • Degree in energy, building science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, resource management, environmental studies, environmental science or a related field
  • Experience providing client service and/or program delivery to the public, businesses, First Nation or municipal governments or non-profit organizations
  • Considerable experience developing, implementing and/or evaluating energy-related programs, policies or initiatives
  • Considerable knowledge of building science, energy efficiency retrofitting techniques, renewable energy systems, renewable transportation technologies, and/or heating and ventilation systems
  • Experience conducting energy modelling, particularly with HOT2000, HTAP, RETScreen, Volta Snap, HOMER or another recognized software will be considered an asset

Candidates who have a combination of education, training and experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
