Job description: About Our ClientOur client, located in the Burlington area, is a public accounting firm looking for a Senior Associate, auditor to join their team! The Senior Associate, Audit tasks will follow:Responsibilities

• Preparation of annual working papers including year-end adjusting journal entries for audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Preparation of T1, T2 and T3 tax returns
• Lead and mentor junior staff
• Other ad-hoc duties are required

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of small to medium size public accounting experience including audit, review, compilation, and tax experience
• Successful completion of the Common Final Examination (CFE) or CPA-designated
• Experienced with ASPE, ASNFPO, and Canadian income taxation
• Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements
