Job description: We are seeking a reliable, caring, and energetic nanny to provide part-time childcare for our 9-month-old baby, starting as soon as possible. Both parents work from home and are looking for someone who can engage with our little one in a fun, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate way during the mornings. The ideal candidate should enjoy taking our baby outside for walks and be playful and interactive, while also being comfortable with light household tasks if time permits. Both parents work from home and the baby is still breastfeeding, while also taking solids. -Care for our 9-month-old baby during the morning hours, including diaper changes, feeding (solids), and general supervision. -Engage in playful, educational, and stimulating activities to help with development (reading, tummy time, playing with toys, etc.). -Take the baby outside for walks and outdoor activities as appropriate. -Assist with light housekeeping duties, including tidying up after the baby, doing laundry, meal prepping, etc -If time permits, assist with meal prep for the family -Be comfortable assisting with bottle feeding when necessary. -Ensure the baby’s safety and well-being at all times. Qualifications: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Previous experience caring for infants and young children is preferred. Comfortable with light housekeeping and meal prep as part of the role. Energetic, playful, and caring personality with a genuine love for children. Ability to take initiative and be flexible with the baby’s needs and schedule. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
