Job description: We are seeking a live-in student who is interested in helping us at home with our three children. We have a 12 year old and a set of twins (10 yrs old). We prefer a long-term commitment (at least one year). We have a beautiful luxury basement apartment that you would have access to plus a free bus pass to get you around the city. We will offer you subsidized or FREE RENT for help around the house plus additional pay up to a maximum of $1, 500 per month. Your schedule would be Monday-Friday 7am-9am & 4pm-8pm plus weekends however this would ONLY be every second week as we share custody of the kids*. Your duties would include light housekeeping (kitchen + kids bedrooms), kids laundry, packing kids lunches, cooking breakfast and dinner, going for walks or bike rides with the kids, grocery shopping for the house… A vehicle can be provided to you for this if you have your driver’s license*. We are located only 5 mins from Saint-Paul’s University, 10 mins from Ottawa University and 15 mins from Carleton University (Alta Vista neighbourhood, Ottawa, ON).
