Job description: Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.Position Overview:Applications are invited from qualified undergraduate students at the University of Winnipeg to work on a part-time basis during the spring/summer of 2025.Duties:

  • The potential candidate should be able to write programs in appropriate software to create a website, summarize documents to be uploaded to the website, upload the documents to the website, and integrate them with the University of Winnipeg’s Ion server.

Qualifications:

  • The potential candidate should have a basic understanding of statistical research and relevant coursework.
  • The potential candidate should have strong knowledge of software management and development, along with proficiency in LaTeX, Microsoft Office, and other related software.

Condition(s) of Employment:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
