Job description: Job PostingReady For a Tasty New Challenge?LOCATION: 560 Victoria Street N. | Kitchener, ON. N2H 5G2SHIFT: Part Time – Friday (9pm to 9am) and Sunday (9am to 9pm)RATE: $18.50/hrResponsibilities:

  • Provide relief to all positions on the line including Mixer Operator, Bagger Operator and Packer
  • Perform all duties associated with positions being relieve
  • Ensure employees are relieved for breaks and meal periods at appropriate times
  • Assist in product handling during line issues (overflow due to baggers being down) and repacking product as required
  • Maintain clean work area
  • Perform additional tasks as directed

Requirements:

  • Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
  • Possess some degree of mechanical aptitude
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Ability to think, troubleshoot and react to situations
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction
  • Ability to work in an efficient but safe manner
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to efficiently communicate in English (written and verbal)
  • Be a lover of bread and baked goods!
