Job description: Heavy Equipment Technician – Red Seal or Level 3 and 4 ApprenticeWe are currently hiring a Heavy Equipment Technician at our client’s renovated, well-equipped Winnipeg location just past Brookside. This position is open to Red Seal-certified technicians as well as Level 3 or 4 apprentices only.Pay and Benefits:Competitive pay: $35-$41/hr, depending on experience and qualificationsFull-time, permanent Monday to Friday day shift (pick your hours)Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, massage, physio, etc.) 100% company paid3 weeks vacation, sick days, and 3 personal daysAnnual tool and boot allowanceFacility Highlights:

• Modern, upgraded 4-bay shop including:
• Full-length oil change bay with pit
• Enclosed truck wash bay
• Fabrication workspace for welding (welding skills an asset)

Responsibilities:Diagnose, repair, and maintain:Diesel engines (Paccar/MX experience an asset)Transmissions, rear ends, differentialsElectrical/electronic systems, power systemsHydraulic systems and related componentsPerform service work safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized work area according to company standardsQualifications:Red Seal Truck Transport Technician or Apprentice (Level 3 or 4 only)Knowledge of engine, gear, and hydraulic repairSkilled in computer diagnostics and troubleshootingWelding certification an assetMOPIA (air conditioning) certification an assetClass 1 or 3 driver’s license an assetMust provide your own basic tools – secured area on site Join a forward-thinking team at a shop that’s equipped for your success and with an eye on growth and expansion!
