- Work Methods
- Ensure recipes and ingredients are prepared according to the proper procedures and record the data;
- Communicate with associates the weekly guidelines regarding the critical ingredients and operations notes;
- Conduct randomized sample audits of recipe bags and record the data
- Inspect the ingredients before portioning and coach employees at the start
- Do quality walk-rounds in the storage areas and flow rack to make sure all the ingredients and products are compliant to GoodFood requirements
- Training & On-boarding
- Provide training to employees on Goodfood work methods, Good Hygiene practices, and other relevant topics;
- Conduct the onboarding presentation to new employees;
- Deliver punctual on the job training to employees as needed;
- Continuous Improvement
- Act as a reference and answer associate’s quality-related questions;
- Communicate and follow up on quality issues with both the sourcing and inventory department;
- Coach employees who do not meet the standards of hygiene and food safety;
- Identify the sources of food safety and hygiene problems, suggest solutions and participate in their implementation;
- Make sure associates are working efficiently (no overuse of the scale, portion by unit as much as possible etc…);
- Provide feedback to team leaders;
Participate in reducing waste and improving inventory * Food Safety
- Investigate quality issues and put in place counter-measures;
- Conduct audits on compliance with hygiene rules, cleanliness, and safety standards;
- Conduct pre-shift cleaning inspections on production areas, machines and equipment;
- Make sure issues with recipes are corrected;
- Maintain inspection records;
- Report on and ensure that food safety and hygiene issues are resolved;
- Make sure quality standards are followed by all employees;
- Any other related task.

- Minimum High School Diploma
- Relevant experience and knowledge in food safety systems, regulations, continuous improvement and Quality Assurance considered a strong asset
- Teaching / Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work in refrigerated environment between 0 and +10 degree
