Job description: Position: PSW / One-on-One Part Time
Location: Ottawa – ( Bank Street near Sunnyside )
Salary: $25 per hourUrgent need for a caring, and experienced Personal Support Worker to work one-on-one with a resident with some dementia. This resident has some behavioral issues and our PSW must always keep a keen eye on her to assure her safety since she is a fall risk.Required Skills and Qualifications:– PSW certificate or diploma – mandatory
– Up-to-date immunizations (Covid, Hep B, TB, MMR, tetanus/diphtheria, varicella)
– Excellent communication skills in English
– Valid police record check (vulnerable sector)
– Valid CPR – Level CSchedule:Day shift – 08:00-11:00 Monday to FridayWe have shifts 7 days per week, we will work with your schedule and fit in as many as possible. A flexible availability allows the possibility for more shifts!We Offer:– Flexible schedule
