Reporting to the Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Monthly and quarterly financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties with some residential
• Setting up leases and preparing rental notices
• Applying rent receipts
• Processing miscellaneous billings/chargebacks
• Reviewing and posting approved rent rolls
• Tenant account reconciliations
• Filing of GST, Parking Tax, and PST rebates
• Monthly review of general ledger and preparation of month-end journal entries
• Account reconciliations, and variance reporting
• Assist with the preparation/compilation of property budgets
• Year-end operating cost reconciliations and respond to tenant inquiries
• Preparation of annual audit working papers and responding to auditor request
• Timely billing of property taxes to those tenants who pay annually

The Successful Candidate:

• Designated CPA or near completion will be highly regarded
• 2-4+ years commercial property accounting experience
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
