Job description: Project Manager – Disaster Restoration/ConstructionNational Franchise Property Restoration Company is expanding and looking for energetic and self-motivated employees to join our team.WINMAR provides emergency and reconstruction services to homes, businesses, industrial and institutional properties after they have been damaged by fire, water, sewage, mould, asbestos, vehicle impacts, etcYou will be required to respond to emergencies on a 24 hour on call basis on a rotation scheduleExperience in project management is essentialGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Initial customer contact within 30 minutes of and first customer visit within 24 hoursDispatch emergency crewsEstablish scope and standards of constructionEstimate equipment, manpower, cost and materials required using industry approved software (ie Xactimate)Establishment of job priority based on general guidelinesInspects buildings to determine work needed to maintain buildings to code and desired standardsEnsure all company protocol is followedSKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:Able to interact, and effectively communicate (written and oral)Proficiency in the use of common computer software packagesProficient in XactimateKnowledge of building construction, materials and methods and codesKnowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building constructionEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 3 years experience as a Project Manager in the Restoration industryAny Certification with the IICRC is an assetPERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS AND METRICS:Punctual and ReliableProduces accurate scopes and cost estimatesManages profitability. Pays attention to detailAble to work in a stressful environmentExcellent written and verbal communication in English Project timelinessEffective Scheduling and SupervisionAbility to take charge and delegateEffective team playerClean Driver abstract. No criminal record
