Job description: JOB SUMMARY: This position is to assist the home building program working with youth at EDF. The Construction Program Facilitator requires a mix of physical adaptability, construction experience, and interpersonal skills.Key Attributes and Skills: * Physical Endurance and Adaptability:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and challenging weather conditions
• Capability to lift and move supplies, tools, and equipment
• Construction Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience in construction and use of basic tools
• Trades experience or relevant certifications (tickets) are an asset
• Proficiency in interior finishing tasks
• Familiarity with safety protocols
• Work Ethic and Collaboration:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Commitment to projects and reliability in attendance
• Willingness to learn and collaborate effectively with a team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Commitment to ideals and principles of Catholic education
• Training and/or experience in home building/construction projects
• Significant carpentry experience required
• Journeyperson carpentry an asset
• Proven ability to work independently
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with strong ability to build relationships

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• As per Collective Agreement
• 6.5 hrs/day
• To begin ASAP and continue to June 26, 2025 or earlier, if the needs of the division change
• Salary range – $25.60 – $30.25 per hour
