The patients seen are typically complex and the care plan decreases in frequency as they transition to community PSW care.We are looking for Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to help us bring patient and family-centered care to in patients in the Elgin area.This is a temporary full-time position.Hours of work are 0800-2000 (12-hour shifts), 37.5 hours per weekWhat We OfferCompetitive Wages, Incentives and Perks

What The Role Involves
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care (rise and retire), assistance with household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, special functions
- Promoting a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety
- Providing cognitive, social and/or emotional support to the patient
- Preparing nutritious, varied and economical meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan, using proper food preparation, storage, and hygiene practices.
New Ontario PSW grads may be eligible to * receive a $10,000 bonus**
- from an approved PSW program in Ontario (on or after April 1, 2023)
** in exchange for a commitment to work with us in a Full-Time position for 12 months, payable at 6 months and 12 monthsand an additional $10,000 relocation bonus****** when relocating to rural, remote or northern area and committing to working with us for 12 months, payable at start and 6 monthsWhat You Bring

- Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
- To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, a clear background check
