Job description: Personal driver needed for senior citizen living in Moncton Jan. – March 2025, perhaps longer I’m looking for a driver for my father who lives in Moncton – I live in NS. He is in his 80s, lives independently, and is able-bodied (uses a hearing aid). For the most part he mentally sharp though he does sometimes get confused or disoriented in conversation. He needs a driver for errands — banking, groceries, etc.– and appointments around the Greater Moncton Area. An ideal situation would be to set up a regular schedule 2 – 3 times per week and then also be able to call outside of those times if things come up short notice. There would be no obligation at these times and the driver would be paid for time working and waiting, but not for being “on call”. My father doesn’t use the internet or a cell phone. He uses a land-line, and cash and cheques for financial things.
