Job description: Requiring some part time assistance with an adult (34 years old) with currently mental impairment. Patient has memory issues and impairment, confusion, and requires someone to check in on him when no one else is home, help prepare food, and just spend some time with him and oversee him. Patient is nonviolent and has no mobility or bathroom issues. Some days patient has no problem and requires nothing at all, other days patient may need more time to help settle them. No medications at this time. We simply need to work and require someone to be around and do check ins so we can feel at ease having patient at home during the day. May require some assistance with going to appointments, or preparing food, etc, also may sometimes be needed during daytime/evening hours, but that will be discussed beforehand and not required if your schedule does not permit. As their condition and diagnosis progresses, we may require more time and effort from a caregiver, if that person is willing. There are two dogs in the house, and the patient is a smoker (outside only). Would be so wonderful to have some assistance with light housekeeping and meal preparing, but not required.
