Job description: The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is excited to announce that we are looking for eight (8) enthusiastic part-time Material Handlers to join our dynamic Distribution Centre team. You should be comfortable operating warehouse equipment, such as Walkie Riders (Lowlifts), and using radio frequency devices. As a Material Handler, you will report to the Manager of the Distribution Centre or their designate. Your primary responsibility will be assembling liquor products for Retail Store Permittees throughout Saskatchewan. This role includes:
- Safely load liquor products into outbound trailers and trucks.
- Safely handle damaged products, including recording, repackaging, and taking the unsellable units to
- the breakage room.
- Safely operate the warehouse equipment while loading liquor products for shipments.
- Conduct general housekeeping duties as needed, and any other duties assigned.

Availability Requirements
- Shift Time: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Days of Work: Sunday to Friday
- Sunday Shifts: Must work 2 out of 3 Sundays.
- Weekly Hours: Available for up to 4 days (32 hours) a week.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 23 kg (51 pounds).
- Successful completion of an independent physical assessment based on bona fide occupational requirements for hearing, vision, strength, and flexibility must be done before employment.
Required Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
- An attitude of safety by always ensuring the safety of self and others within the workplace.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and complete high-volume workloads to meet required objectives.
- Ability to recognize potential and real safety risks to self and others; evaluate the risks and take steps to minimize and/or quickly resolve the safety issues or concerns; report the safety issues, concerns, or incidents.
