Job description: I am currently seeking a reliable and efficient part-time housekeeper, located in North Vancouver, BC. This role is primarily focused on maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in my home. I am hoping to find someone with a keen eye for detail, who values a clean and organized living environment. You will be responsible for various cleaning tasks to ensure the tidiness and hygiene of different areas in the house. This position does not require a driver’s license or the use of an automobile. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: – General cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing. – Kitchen cleaning, which includes washing dishes, cleaning inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. – Laundry duties including washing and drying clothing and household items. – Cleaning the exterior of the oven, fridge, and dishwasher. – Ironing clothes and household items. – If you possess culinary skills, meal preparation and serving may be needed, particularly during special family events or when we have guests. – Keeping bedrooms in order by making beds, changing linens, and maintaining overall neatness. While previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, it’s not a requirement. I’m happy to guide you during the first few weeks. You should be capable of working independently, managing your time effectively, and demonstrating a strong attention to detail. I am seeking someone available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the evening for less than 20 hours per week.
