Job description: Select People Solutions is pleased to be working with our client in construction as they search for a Draftsperson to join their team. • The salary is $50K-$70K/year based on experience
• This role requires you to be in office, Monday-Friday

Position Summary:

• Providing accurate and timely drawings and blueprints on scheduled products
• Processing orders and ensuring the accurate gathering of information and feedback from clients is translated into client drawings to ensure client satisfaction
• Maintaining existing files and managing new documents to keep paperwork current and organized
• Answering customers technical and design-based questions; providing troubleshooting, problem solving, and solution-based proposals
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure companywide achieves their deliverables
• Submitting reports, proposals, records, and other documents in an effective and timely manner

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology
• 2-5 years’ experience in computerized drafting systems, ideally in Truss design
• Knowledge working with, reviewing and analyzing building codes
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Strong time management skills and high attention to detail
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening

• Experience designing modular homes
• Experience working with third party contractors
• Experience working on multiple, large-scale projects
