Job description: Transdev is now hiring Red Seal Commercial Transport or Automotive Mechanic for our Regina, Saskatchewan location!Transdev is looking for a skilled Red Seal Commercial Transport or Automotive Mechanic to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the transportation industry.Your role:

• Lead preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
• Handle routine repairs, including oil and tire changes, and write detailed inspection reports and repair plans.
• Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair under minimal supervision, including brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, and transmission clutches.

• Complete work orders properly and accurately, maintaining detailed records of all maintenance performed and parts used.
• Move vehicles safely between job and work areas and perform test drives to ensure proper performance.
• Notify supervisors of dangerous equipment and corrective actions taken, and report major safety observations.
• Contribute to the team’s knowledge base for repairing various fleet vehicles.
• Follow all of Transdev’s standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other responsibilities or tasks as requested or required.

Your profile:

• You have a Red Seal in Truck and Transport or Automotive Service Technician.
• You hold valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• You have an appropriate mechanic’s tool set.
• You adhere to provincial and the Federal Motor Vehicle Act.
• You have advanced problem-solving abilities.
• You possess advanced computer skills.
• You have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• You are able to work assigned shifts.
• Hold or have the ability to obtain relevant government safety inspection certification.

Your location:

• This is a non-union position in Regina, SK.
• The work schedule is 40 hrs a week, 8am – 5pm.
• Shifts are Monday – Friday.
