We are seeking a highly organized and politically astute leader to serve as Manager, Issues Management. This role is central to ensuring the organization stays ahead of emerging developments by tracking multiple complex and high-stakes files simultaneously. The successful candidate will excel at distilling large volumes of information into clear, concise, and strategically focused briefing materials to support the Minister and senior executives, often under tight timelines. They will bring a steady, solutions-oriented approach to a fast-paced environment, and ensure that responses reflect the organization’s priorities and policy direction. Strong leadership, sound judgment, and an ability to work across teams and functions are essential to success in this role.

  • Post-secondary degree in political science, business or public administration, social sciences, communications or related field
  • Experience providing strategic issues management advice and preparing high-quality briefing materials for senior executives on sensitive, high-profile, or complex files, with demonstrated impact on decision-making.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining strong, effective working relationships with senior management and key stakeholders to influence outcomes and drive organizational objectives.
  • Experience developing, leading, and managing teams, including setting strategic priorities.
