Visit us today and check out to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.About the OpportunityReporting to the Maintenance & Operations Assistant Manager, the Maintenance Worker II performs a variety of semi-skilled, and unskilled tasks related to the upkeep of Nova Scotia Health properties (facilities & grounds) and related infrastructure, including but not limited to the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and service requirements of all grounds and facility related infrastructure and equipment, aiding other maintenance and operations trades and other related duties as required. The Maintenance Worker II assists with maintaining and following operational, equipment, tools, & safety codes, standards, and procedures.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Successful completion of a 1 year certificate or diploma in a technical trade (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc..) or registered apprentice4th Class Power Engineer certificate may also be considered3 months relevant work experience requiredShift work required.Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.Please Note: Applicants relying on equivalencies must demonstrate such equivalency in their application.
