Located in the heart of the Niagara Falls Tourist District, the Skylon Tower continues to be a must-see destination for visitors from around the globe.Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Team Member at Skylon Tower, you will be responsible for ensuring the building, systems, and grounds are well-maintained and safe for guests and employees. Your role involves performing minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry while working a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.Location: Skylon Tower, Niagara Falls Tourist District
Job Type: Regular Full-time; with overtime opportunities
Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts (day, mid-shift, afternoon) with no night shifts. Must be available 7 days per week, including holidays.
Compensation: $19.00 to $22.50 per hour, based on experience

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining Skylon Tower’s building, systems, and property grounds, ensuring safety for guests and employees.
• Performing minor repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry tasks.
• Supporting the ongoing Preventive Maintenance program and emergency procedures.
• Ensuring all public areas are clean, orderly, and hazard-free.
• Responding promptly to service requests from guests, employees, and management.
• Communicating effectively within the maintenance team and with other departments.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in general institutional or industrial building maintenance.
• Solid understanding and experience in electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize a diverse workload.
• Individuals who enjoy working with a team-focused approach, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds as part of their daily responsibilities.
• Availability to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
