Immerse yourself in breathtaking landscapes and witness a unique fauna thriving year-round in this extraordinary environment.About the Role: Join us as an Administrative/Supply Assistant, a role that requires motivation and adaptability to changing priorities while ensuring safe and efficient operations. Reporting to the Transport and Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient ordering and obtaining of supplies, material, and/or equipment, as well as administrative and logistical coordination.What You Will Bring:
- Support the Transport and Vehicle Supervisor in the development, publication, and maintenance of the yearly PMI Plan and schedule.
- Raise, manage, review, and close all repairs Work Orders in DRMIS.
- Maintain a catalogue of first- and second-line materiel, spares parts replacements, and tooling, providing a monthly verification report of work completeness.
- In coordination with our Technical Librarian, maintain the Transportation and Maintenance reference library; obtain DND-provided documents; ensure they are approved documents; keep them current by receiving, entering, and tracking amendments.
- Consolidate coordinate, order DND-provided material, and contractor furnished material (CFM) and equipment (CFE) proficient in using Defense Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) and Fleet Management System (FMS).
- Minimize the logistical effort needed to ship material, equipment, and supplies by maximizing bulk shipment and minimizing individual packaging.
- Maintain records of all preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and other related engineering activities, including keeping all database records current.
