Posted by:Hello, we are a friendly, mixed Indian-Canadian professional family of 4 in Milton near the Milton Leisure Centre (Thompson/Main), looking for a part-time helper to cook in our home on Fri, Sat and/or Sundays for a total of 4-6 hours per week. The work schedule could be 2 hours/day x 3 days per week in the mornings or afternoons (Fri, Sat, Sun), or a single 4 hour block, preferably on Saturday. If you are available, the work can increase to 5-7 days per week (2 h/day) during the children’s school vacations (summer, Christmas, etc.). We are mostly vegetarian. We eat diverse cuisines, especially North Indian – Punjabi (for example, parathas, but all with less spice, no chili pepper!) but also we eat Italian, Mexican, Thai, Moroccan, healthy soups & salads, etc. We would also love to taste what you like to cook! We will provide the recipes or you may also cook your specialties. We ask you to clean up after cooking. Possibly also folding laundry would be helpful while the food cooks. We already have someone else who helps us 7h/week from Mon-Thursdays except school vacations. We are looking for someone long-term. $20 to start.
