Job description: Job Description:Our client in the post-production industry is looking for a Localization Account Coordinator. This is a hybrid opportunity, working in the downtown Toronto office 3 days per week, 2 days work from home. This role will be responsible for managing the daily operations of multiple localization projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time and up to quality expectations.Responsibilities:

  • Efficient coordination and conformance of project schedules and budgets related to scripts, subtitles, captions, dubs, and audio description
  • Coordinate and manage the full life-cycle of multiple localization projects.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and vendors to facilitate effective project execution.
  • Schedule and prioritize work to ensure that all deadlines are met in a timely and quality-focused manner.
  • Support the Localization Project Managers with task coordination, including managing quality control processes, post-production reviews and delivery tasks.
  • Review content to document localization challenges and provide creative guidance to clients, dubbing studios, and other contributors
  • Collaborate with the Localization team to prioritize workloads and manage resources effectively.
  • Handle client requests, answering in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the localization process.
  • Maintain project statuses and provide regular reports; keep all stakeholders informed about project progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Post Production Coordinator or a similar role.
  • Prior experience in localization, preferably in a post-production environment.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and work under strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals, teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other language is highly desired.
  • An eye for detail with the ability to work efficiently and produce high-quality work.
  • Proficient in using project and workflow management tools.
