This role involves working on a variety of equipment, including quads, side-by-sides, Argos, power saws, pumps, UTVs, and ATVs. The successful candidate will work alongside a senior mechanic to ensure the maintenance and operational readiness of all field equipment and vehicles.This position offers an immediate start and is project-based, running through 2025. GrizzlyTrek provides competitive compensation based on skill level and Journeyman status. Applicants with their own truck and tools are strongly encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repairs on small engines, including ATVs, UTVs, Argos, pumps, and generators.Assist with general truck maintenance, vehicle recovery, and boosting.Conduct thorough inspections and maintain detailed logs for repairs and maintenance activities.Ensure drivers complete and submit vehicle inspection reports.Collaborate with team members to build and maintain strong working relationships.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.Adhere to all safety protocols and actively participate in safety meetings.Complete additional tasks as assigned by the senior mechanic or project leadership.Job Details:Location: Multiple project sites across AlbertaCompensation: Starting at $30.00/hour (dependent on skill and experience)Duration: Yearly project-based workAccommodations: Camp and hotel providedRequirements:Proven mechanical skills with a focus on small engine repair and maintenance.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.Willingness to travel and stay at project accommodations (camps or hotels).Own truck and tools considered an asset.Required Certifications:To ensure safety and compliance, candidates must possess the following certifications.
