Saige Homecare is currently looking for a caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to work in a home care setting. Open availability preferred as there are daytime, evening and potentially overnight shifts available. We are specifically looking for someone to work in the Seton area and who is comfortable driving a client’s van to appointments, as the client is a quadriplegic. If you’re passionate about making a difference and have the qualifications we need, we’d love to hear from you.As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you would work under the supervision of our Registered Nurses and provide professional nursing care to the home care client.Pay: $26-$28 per hour, based on experienceSchedule/Shifts: Part Time, FlexibleBenefits

Responsibilities

  • Performing specialized nursing procedures
  • Ability to follow Care Plan
  • Complete comprehensive client assessments
  • Observation, Documentation, Reporting and Charting of client conditions and changes
  • Remain on-call for clients who have healthcare emergencies
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed
  • Able to Drive the Clients van for appointments (Training will be provided).

Qualifications

  • Active LPN License in good standing with CLPNA
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Current Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (Completed in the last 6 months)
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Access to a computer and cell phone
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to complete assignments in a timely manner
