Job description: Job Title: MRB Liaison EngineerJob DescriptionThe Liaison Engineer is responsible for addressing non-conformances, developing repair solutions, and coordinating their implementation within the aircraft manufacturing environment. The position requires on-site presence in either BC or Alberta and is ideal for individuals with production experience who can effectively handle discrepancies and production challenges. Candidates should possess knowledge of rivets, bolts, and structures along with stress analysis experience.Responsibilities

• Resolve technical engineering fit, form, or functional issues on components and for repairs required during the manufacture of aircraft products.
• Find engineering solutions to problems with aircraft structure and/or systems and raise necessary documentation to address issues quickly and efficiently.
• Provide repair and/or salvage dispositions in line with engineering specifications and design integrity, and sign for dispositions on behalf of the Engineering department.
• Collaborate with specialists in Engineering, such as Design, Stress, Materials Technology, Aerodynamics, and Performance, to problem-solve and address reported issues.
• Support Production, Design Engineering, Procurement, and Quality in coordinating resolutions to technical engineering issues and providing corrective action.
• Recommend permanent design changes for recurring non-conformances.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Provide status updates and keep current on information regarding manufacturing changes and problems.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years MRB experience or seven years design experience in aircraft design.
• 5-10 years experience in Aerospace.
• 5 years’ experience in repair design.
• Knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation technical requirements.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing and structural design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team environment.
