Job description: DescriptionFinance & Reporting

  • Manage leasing-related revenues and expenses to meet financial targets.
  • Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection and adherence to company procedures.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and ad-hoc reports accurately and on time.

Sales & Marketing

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy.
  • Identify and target key markets to attract prospective tenants.
  • Lead direct marketing initiatives and oversee property marketing plans.
  • Create and execute sales promotions to drive tenant interest and lease conversions.
  • Maintain and grow engagement across social media platforms, ensuring consistent and high-quality content.

Leasing & Tenant Relations

  • Ensure a seamless leasing process, including application review, lease agreements, and renewals.
  • Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain compliance with the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA) and company policies.

Property Management & Compliance

  • Ensure the property is aesthetically maintained, including landscaping and snow removal.
  • Organize and oversee departmental efficiency within the property.
  • Understand legal obligations related to leasing and property management.
  • Ensure all necessary tenant documentation and records are collected and maintained.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for staff as required.
  • Maintain safety compliance records and training completion for team members.
  • Conduct hazard identification and maintain accurate records of safety procedures.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Coach, train, and mentor staff on leasing processes and customer service excellence.
  • Uphold and enforce Health & Safety regulations and other legislated policies.
  • Adapt to emerging trends and problem-solve in high-pressure situations.

RequirementsEducation:

  • College Diploma or University Degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven track record in sales, with strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to execute leasing strategies through various channels, including social media marketing.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and adapt to new challenges.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Leadership skills, including decision-making and crisis management.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in leasing, residential property management, or a comparable sales-focused role.
  • Knowledge of the residential and condominium markets is an asset.
  • Familiarity with leasing laws and the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA).
