They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Learning Specialist to join our client.Contract Dates: 11 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Range: $54.29 to $61.85 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)Job Responsibilities:
- Support Learning and Development (L&D) Pod on execution of Portfolio initiatives and learning solutions for LOB specific initiatives.
- Development and execution of evaluation and measurement plan (e.g., budgeting, workshop audience analysis, attendance, readiness assessments scores and business metrics utilizing strong Excel and BA skills) as part of program deployment.
- Support design & development team is accessing, capturing, and storing system screen shots to support a seamless and timely process (eg., knowledge of Articulate Rise, Storyline 360)
- Support L&D Pod in deployment of key large-scale programs; specifically in the program components (i.e., participant selection, vendor consultations, partner with LOB Practice Management teams, and POD leads to support learners’ experience, enrolments, manage learner attendance records, etc.)
- Develop a consistent approach to storing/organizing assets and distributing emails to allow for related parties to get familiar with the project and its expectations.
- Identify and flag any risks to project deliverables and execution plan for escalation to Senior LSA.
- Manage and monitor Learning mailbox related to L&D planning, learner inquiries and follow-ups.
- Interact with internal/external partners, organize meetings (e.g., documentation of meeting minutes, following up on actions required by L&D partners, Centre of Excellence (COE), Practice Management).
- Oversight and submission of intakes that will engage COE and partners in support of L&D project plan. (e.g., Intakes to engage LMS team, HR DAR, Business Management, Program Support, SSG/ Vendor Management and Delivery), as recommended by Senior LSA
- Manage ad-hoc business required LMS requests, as appropriate. Collaborate with LMS analyst and business course owners to define and obtain approval of LMS specification documents in prep for launch.
- Manage budget tracking (forecast vs. actual) for L&D program; facilitate budget tracking meetings to monitor status and progress.
- Support problem resolution of daily escalations re: course exemptions, course functionality issues within the portfolio learning curriculum. Liaise with stakeholders in L&D COE teams to resolve.
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Learning Specialist experience
- Strong Excel background/Foundational BA experience
- Articulate Rise and Storyline 360 experience
- Microsoft office suite experience
- L&D experience in Systems Training
- Strong administrative experience
