In this pivotal leading role, you will provide trusted advice and oversight on all aspects of departmental privacy and information governance activities. As the designated Privacy Officer for the department, this position ensures that all relevant policy, procedures and legislation is followed and also leads the development and implementation of improved policies and procedures as needed. - Considerable experience developing, implementing and maintaining privacy management policies and procedures.
- Considerable experience in leading a records management program.
- Demonstrated ability to provide training and support for adherence to information governance legislation, policy and procedures.
- Experience in leading a team and supporting staff on establishment and completion of development goals and objectives through a project management lens.
- Experience in researching and evaluating new records and information management methods, technologies and processes, and making recommendations to promote more efficient and/or effective solutions.
- Some coursework in records management would be an asset
