Job description: Job DescriptionFLINT is seeking energetic and self-driven Insulators to join our team for the upcoming Project!Located in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, this position will start on September 30, 2024, and last until January 31, 2025.   • 10 days on / 4 days of work schedule, 10 hrs/day.

What would you be doing?

  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation needs.
  • Insulation removal
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements and select the type of insulation required
  • Measuring and cutting insulating material to required dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Measure and cut insulating material to the required dimensions.
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods (spraying, blowing, pasting, etc.).
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between studs and joists.
  • Fabricate metal sheets and apply insulating materials to finish surfaces.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
  • Ability to perform careful and exacting work.
  • Minimum 3 years experience on an industrial or construction site.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
