Job description: Profile: Our client is a family owned company in the steel industry. They are looking for an inside sales rep that has experience in the steel industry. As an Inside Sales Representative, your main job is to find and engage new customers and help our existing customers with their needs. You’ll offer solutions that meet each customer’s needs to increase revenue and boost profitability. • Know the company policies, costs, and products
• Build and maintain good relationships with existing and new customers
• Stay updated on market trends and competition
• Act as a go-between for customers and other departments (Sales, Credit, Production, Purchasing, etc.)
• Keep customers happy and adjust to changes in the market and company
• Set up customer visits and make sure the right people meet with the right contacts
• Keep track of inventory issues and help resolve them
• Support internal sales team with order entry, quotes, and follow-up.
• Have regular meetings with clients and sales team to make sure all sales goals are met
• Inform clients about everything the company can offer
• Look for ways to add extra value to each sale
• Complete sales reports and documentation (monthly forecasts, updates on accounts, lost business, etc.)
