Job description: Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive manufacturing company in New Brunswick, Canada in their search for an HR Manager. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity which requires in-office work. Only candidates who live in or around the Edmondstun, New Brunswick area will be considered since in-office work is required.Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor 4 HR Generalists
• Ensure compliance of Benefits in alignment with North American manager
• Oversee Canadian Employment Law compliance
• Foster a positive work environment
• Manage recruitment efforts
• Develop HR strategies with HR Director
• Handle Employee Relations issues

Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of HR management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must have 5 years of HR experience in a unionized company
• Must possess strong leadership experience
• Must have strong conflict-resolution skills
• Must be comfortable using HR software
• Must be able to travel within Canada, up to 20% of the time.
