Your adventure with Bruce County starts here.About the JobThe Environmental Services department at Brucelea Haven LTC in Walkerton, ON is accepting applications for the position of Part Time Housekeeping Student. This position works Saturday and Sunday every other weekend and completes three and a half hour shifts each day to assist with general cleaning and maintenance.Shift Time: 4:00pm – 7:30pm. Applicants must be 16 years of age or olderWage: $15.85 per hour + 4% vacation in lieuSalary & BenefitsThe Housekeeping Student position is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas within safe working practices, protocols and procedures. They will maintain high standards of cleanliness, while providing infection, odour and pest control throughout the Long Term Care facility.RequirementsRequirements:

• Currently enrolled in highschool and 16 years of age over older
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
• Exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills
• General knowledge of the Long Term Care Health Act
• General knowledge of the Resident Bill of Rights
• Possess a genuine disposition to care for the elderly
• Able to life 40lbs
• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening with results acceptable to the County (if 18 years of age or older)
• TB 2 Step Skin Test
