Job description: This postingThis posting will be used to fill one (1) term part-time position working 60 hours bi-weekly, ending March 31, 2026.The job is based in the thriving and diverse city of in the beautiful .Who we areThis opportunityResponsible for the professional nursing care for Home Care clients in Dawson City, the Home Care Nurse-Home Support Supervisor coordinates client care and collaborates with other Home Care staff (ie. Physiotherapists, occupational therapists) and community partners. This position will act as primary care coordinator by providing care management for all Home Care clients in Dawson City and surrounding area, including long-term care admissions and hospital discharges. This role requires a Nurse with excellent assessment skills and a passion for community practice. As a supervisor to full-time and on-call home support workers, the Nurse is responsible for recruiting, training, supporting and scheduling staff as they work in clients’ homes as part of the home support program.

  • Eligible for Registered Nurse registration with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority.
  • Recently applied knowledge of nursing theory, practices and techniques normally acquired through work experience while working with seniors, adults and/or children preferably in a long term care environment
  • Team leader and/or supervisory experience
