- Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Service (NL) Pool Option
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Lifeguard
- Experience as a Head Lifeguard in an aquatic setting would be an asset
- Experience in program planning and supervision of aquatic programs and activities
- Experience in the leadership and evaluation of staff
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
Other Requirements
- Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Criminal Record Screening Certificate AND Vulnerable Sector Check – Dated not more than six months prior to hire
Additional Qualifications (Provided free for successful candidates if required)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR Level C)
- Standard First Aid
- High Five® Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification

- Position Start and End dates: June 24 – August 26, 2024.
- Must be available to attend mandatory training. First possible training date beginning June 10 and continuing throughout the month of June. Some training may be offered virtually, evenings and/or weekends.
- Training/program dates may vary based on assigned location.
