• Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Service (NL) Pool Option
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Lifeguard
• Experience as a Head Lifeguard in an aquatic setting would be an asset
• Experience in program planning and supervision of aquatic programs and activities
• Experience in the leadership and evaluation of staff
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member

Other Requirements

• Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Criminal Record Screening Certificate AND Vulnerable Sector Check – Dated not more than six months prior to hire

Additional Qualifications (Provided free for successful candidates if required)

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR Level C)
• Standard First Aid
• High Five® Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification

Physical RequirementsThese positions require physical agility and stamina to carry out required duties.Hours of Work

• Position Start and End dates: June 24 – August 26, 2024.
• Must be available to attend mandatory training. First possible training date beginning June 10 and continuing throughout the month of June. Some training may be offered virtually, evenings and/or weekends.
• Training/program dates may vary based on assigned location.
