Our highly skilled workforce ensures the smooth functioning of critical operations for the Department of National Defense (DND), covering everything from facilities maintenance to logistical support.WE ARE LOOKING FOR GENERAL LABORERS/TRADES HELPERSAs a General Laborer/Trades Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting various tradespeople in their tasks, including carrying tools, moving supplies and materials, and assisting with a range of projects such as building roads, bridges, roof repairs, painting, patching walls, laying tile, and snow removal.Key Accountabilities:
- Carrying tools, moving supplies, and materials around the station.
- Assisting on various projects, including building roads, bridges, roof repairs, painting, patching walls, laying tile.
- Snow and ice removal to maintain safe walkways and stairs.
- Miscellaneous cleaning tasks related to spills, broken glass, overflowed toilets, renovations, special events, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in similar roles.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to crouch and/or kneel, able to bend and reach.
- Must be eligible for RELIABILITY security clearance and pass a company pre-employment medical.
- As an overnight stay in Thule Greenland is a requirement, must possess a valid passport.
- Ability to work cross-culturally and a strong team player is a must; will need to roll up sleeves and pitch in as and when required.

- Competitive salary rate: $27.57-$29.02 per hour
- $27 a day in Isolation Allowance for every day worked on site
