We provide the industry with more accurate analyses and more efficient decision making.About the roleHybrid | Full-timeThe Front-End Tech Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of front-end software components, guiding the front-end team toward delivering high-quality, high-performance applications for our clients and internal users. This role involves close collaboration with back-end teams, mentoring front-end developers, and driving innovative solutions that align with our technical and business goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of robust, scalable web applications using React/TypeScript;
- Architect, maintain, and review secure, high-quality, and performant code components;
- Mentor and guide team members, conducting regular code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality standards are met;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end API developers, to ensure seamless integration of front-end components and timely delivery of user stories;
- Oversee the documentation and implementation of processes, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies;
- Drive improvements in user experience, incorporating best practices and UX design patterns into development workflows;
- Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality;
- Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures;
- Other duties as assigned.
About you:
- In-depth knowledge of React, Redux, React Query, React Router, and other related libraries.
- Proven experience working with REST APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS;
- Expertise in version control systems (Git), Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Strong understanding of UX design principles, patterns, and best practices;
- Proficiency with HTML Canvas and/or WebGL is a plus;
- Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript;
- Ability to drive technical decision-making and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 to 5 years of industry experience in software development, with experience in a leadership or mentoring role preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks such as keyboarding.
- Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.

- An estimated annual salary ranging from $100,000 – $125,000 at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
